"The most valuable experience I’ve gained has been in the Firmware and Test departments, where I got practical experience in coding, debugging, and testing—skills that are highly relevant for my career.
One of the standout projects for me was creating an app to streamline the firmware update process for robots during commissioning. It was a fun and creative challenge, and I learned a lot about design, microcontroller memory, and writing maintainable code.
The program has taught me how to quickly adapt to new working environments and tasks. I feel more confident in contributing to different departments and have gained a broad understanding beyond my direct role.
I would advise the next group of Accelerators to embrace all opportunities to learn. While you might end up working in just one department, the experience you gain across other areas will prove invaluable later on. My advice for the next Accelerators would be to be curious and open; there are so many great colleagues to learn from. Say yes to opportunities—you never know what they might lead to. Embrace the learning process and don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone. The experiences you gain will be invaluable."
