ULM, Germany, July 27,2023 – AutoStore, the world leading automated storage and retrieval system provider, has established a new official office in Germany. The office in Ulm, Baden-Württemberg, was festively opened by team members from Germany, Austria, and representatives from the headquarter in Nedre Vats, and signals the continued growth of AutoStore in Europe, as well as the strategic importance of the DACH region.
Previously based in Mönchengladbach, the AutoStore Germany team currently numbers over 20 and is responsible for business development and operations across the DACH region. A new office in Ulm means this expert team is now strategically located at the center of the AutoStore partner network, with strong transport links both within DACH and further afield.
AutoStore CEO, Mats Hovland Vikse, spoke of the intention behind the new location, “With a new AutoStore location in Ulm, we aim to get closer to our partners and customers. We believe in the value of our relationships and a physical presence in the heart of the DACH region will enable our staff to provide system design, training, support, and follow-up to our stakeholders all in one place. This is an exciting next step for the AutoStore team in Europe.”
The new office location will be a base from which AutoStore staff working across all verticals from third party logistics (3PL) to healthcare can build business in an already established market for AutoStore. Dedicated professionals for the DACH region will work to cater to the needs of the market and enable AutoStore’s vision of automation for all.
