AutoStore is proud to announce our membership in the United Nations Global Compact, the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative.
The Global Compact today has 20,000+ participants across 170+ countries and is the largest voluntary initiative for corporate social responsibility in the world. It brings companies together with UN agencies, labor organizations, and civil society to support ten principles in the areas of human rights, labor, environment, and anti-corruption.
We give our warmest welcome to AutoStore. We find it encouraging that you support the ten principles and want to increase the work related to environment and sustainability in AutoStore.
"We look forward to deepening our impact together with the Global Compact and demonstrate how businesses are a force for good," says Agnethe Brown Erland, sustainability manager in AutoStore.
Becoming a member means AutoStore will embed the 10 principles across the organization, and report on our contributions to the Sustainable Development Goals.
The 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) contain 169 objectives each country must meet by 2030 to promote prosperity without leaving environmental protection behind. The purpose is to emphasize the fight against poverty in all its forms and to implement strategies that encourage growth.
