Under the theme “Passion for Solutions,” AutoStore will demonstrate how its innovative technology empowers businesses to enhance efficiency and unlock new growth opportunities. With its advanced router software and system developments, AutoStore now supports some of the industry’s largest installations, featuring over 1,000 Robots and 1 million bins, achieving unprecedented throughput rates. For example, the largest AutoStore system in Germany, boasting 280,000 bin locations and 530 robots, will be implemented for the book retailer Thalia this year.
AutoStore’s growing focus on software-driven solutions will be a highlight at the event. Visitors can explore the design and simulation tools now available in a web-based format, enabling swift planning and expansion of the system. Additionally, AutoStore’s monthly software updates ensure operational efficiency by addressing the fast-evolving needs of logistics. Unify Analytics, the cloud-based data platform, offers real-time and historical insights into system performance across multiple locations, empowering operators to make data-driven decisions.
To address the complexities of food logistics, AutoStore has introduced the Multi-Temperature Solution™. This advancement allows for the storage of frozen and chilled products within a single AutoStore grid, streamlining the handling of items across a temperature range of -25°C to +6°C. By enabling efficient, consolidated picking at positive temperatures, this solution delivers significant benefits to fresh and frozen food supply chains.
In its commitment to democratizing automation, AutoStore offers a compact, plug-and-play solution for smaller businesses, called Pio. Tailored for tighter spaces, the P100 system includes a grid with 1,000 bins and two access points, enabling throughput rates of 120 to 360 bins per hour. Available at an accessible entry cost, Pio ensures that businesses of all sizes can leverage the benefits of automated fulfillment.
