Only a few weeks and CeMAT 2014 will open its doors.

There’s a million and one small things to prepare, to organize and to take consideration to. Organizing a stand the size of an average family home is not for the faint of heart.

First there is the technical aspect:

  • the AutoStore demo grid needs to be integrated
  • cables need to be placed
  • monitors must be hung up
  • a reliable network must be installed

And since the last thing you want is to go empty for coffee in the middle of an important meeting, the catering is at least just as important…

  • how many liters of mineral water do you need for one week
  • how many snacks
  • and napkins
  • who is brewing the coffee
  • who is going to empty the dustbins
  • what about brochures, press kits and giveaways…

Brochures are almost ready

As if all those challenges weren’t enough the whole stand has to be security-approved before CeMAT opens its doors. Without complying to fire regulations, testing the mechanical stability of the construction and finally getting a seal of approval the show won’t even start.

There is definitely a lot to do before CeMAT 2014 opens its doors at 10:00 am on May 19th, but fortunately the AutoStore team and our partners have plenty of experience when it comes to designing and building the stand. As we speak three semi-trailers are being loaded at one of our factories in Poznan, Poland before making their way to Hannover.

We are looking forward to seeing you at CeMAT 2014!
